Haryana Govt Approves Rs 200 Increase in Social Security Pensions & Allowance: Check Block-Municipality Wise Beneficiaries List 2018
Chief Minister of Haryana- Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar has approved Rs 200 increase in Social Security Pensions and Allowances. This is such a great move of Haryana Govt to empower people of socially weaker sections. Now from 1st November 2018, the amount for Old Age Samman Allowance, Widow (Vidhwa) Pension, Disability (Viklang) Pension, Ladli Samajik Suraksha Allowance will be increased to Rs 2,000 from existing Rs 1,800 per month. This decision of the state government will benefit around 26 lakh people. Haryana Govt has also started Online Portal in the name of “Thari Pension, Thare Paas” to provide one-stop services related Social Security Pensions. Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment, Mr. Krishan Kumar Bedi has given this information on 5th September 2018 in a public meeting. The state government has given in-principal approval to increase Rs 200 every year for all kind of social security pensions and allowances. This decision of Haryana CM will benefit around 26 lakh people across the state. Apart from that, Haryana Govt constantly working towards upliftment of economically weaker section of society to empower them.
Haryana Govt Approves Rs 200 Increase in Social Security Allowance (Old Age/ Widow/Disability Pension Scheme)
Haryana Govt has approved the proposal to increase social security pensions and allowance form 1st Nov 2018. Now the Old Age Samman Allowance, Widow Pension, Disability Pension, Ladli Social Security Allowance, and other social security pension allowance will be hiked to Rs 2000 per month (Earlier Rs 1,800 pm). After the implementation of this decision, the State government will incur an expenditure of Rs 20,768.68 lakh on pension for next 4 months (Nov 2018 to Feb 2019).
- This decision will benefit a total number of 25,99,606 beneficiaries in Haryana state. Till date, there are approx 15,70,995 beneficiaries of Old Age (Budhapa Samman) Allowance, 6,90,587 beneficiaries of widow (Vidhwa) pension, 1,53,989 beneficiaries of disabled (Viklang) pension, 35,114 beneficiaries of Ladli social security allowance, 28 of dwarf allowance and 30 of eunuch allowance. All these beneficiaries will now get a monthly pension of Rs 2000 from 1st November 2018.
- In addition to this, the state government has also raised the financial assistance for Destitute Children & Non-School Going Disabled Children. The assistance for 1,34,539 Destitute Children will now be increased to Rs 1,100 from Rs 990 per month. Moreover, the financial assistance for 10,314 Non-school going Disabled Children would be increased to Rs 1,400 from Rs 1,200 per month.
