With this launch, the National Youth Parliament Competition portal is now functional at nyps.mpa.gov.in. Candidates can now apply online and register online on the official website NYPS Programme. The NYPS web portal contains various e-training resources in the form of tutorials, literature, training videos for participants’ e-training and self-learning. The National Youth Parliament Scheme portal will strengthen the roots of democracy.

Along with this one will develop healthy habits of discipline and bear the attitude of others. In addition, this portal will enable the student community to learn about the practices and procedures of Parliament. All recognized educational institutions in the country are eligible to participate in the “Portal Based Youth Parliament Program”. As per the NYPS schedule, the start date for applying online for National Parliament Scheme is 26 November 2019 (11 am) and the last date is 31 December 2019 (5 pm). The event will be held from 1 January 2020 and 30 April 2020. People can download the NYPS certificate between 1 May 2020 to 30 June 2020.

Key Features of the National Youth Parliament Scheme

Important features of the NYPS Portal are as follows:

  • All recognized educational organizations in India are eligible to participate in the National Youth Parliament Scheme.
  • This Youth Parliament Scheme web-portal nyps.mpa.gov.in will be the only medium for applying for participation and registration by educational institutions.
  • The National Parliament Scheme portal will provide e-training modules for a photo, video, script, and self-learning through online mode.
  • On successful registration, each eligible educational institution can attend a meeting of the Youth Parliament in their respective institutions.
  • All participating students of the National Youth Parliament Yojana will get a “Certificate of Participation”. Accordingly, a “Certificate of Appreciation” will be given to each head and teacher-in-charge of the institution through a web-portal.

Under this scheme, the YSR government will provide vehicles to unemployed youths. This is a self-employment scheme for transportation of sand and other essential commodities through Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC), Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Corporation (APCSC), Andhra Pradesh Beverages Corporation Limited (APBCL) and other govt agencies.

Around 6,000 trucks would be inducted in this Adarsham Scheme for transportation through the welfare corporations with bank linkage. With this scheme, the state government wants to ensure that each jobless candidate can earn up to Rs 20,000 per month. The YSR Govt of Andhra Pradesh wants to provide employment opportunities to youths. So that they can earn their livelihood and lead a life of dignity/honor.

The important features of this AP Adarsham Scheme are as follows:

  1. The state govt of AP will provide vehicles to unemployed youths to create employment opportunities & make them self reliant.
  2. This self-employment scheme in Andhra Pradesh will remove bottlenecks in the transportation of sand and other essential commodities.
  3. The transportation would be done under various corporations like APMDC, APCSC, APBCL.
  4. The customers will get sand and other commodities at affordable rates after induction of up to 6000 vehicles.
  5. In this YSR Adarsham Scheme, APMDC will take the order of sand requirements from the customers.
  6. Then these jobless candidate beneficiaries who are given vehicles by the welfare corporation will transport it.
  7. Afterward, the payments would be issued in real-time after the successful delivery of sand.

In a similar manner, APCSC and APBCL will hire these vehicles to transport their commodities. The vehicles under AP YSR Adarsham Scheme will be allotted on the basis of customer’s requirements. The unemployed candidates will get these vehicles under Bank linked program by all the welfare corporations.

YSR-Netanna-Hastham-Scheme-In-APAP YSR Netanna Hastham Scheme 2019-20: Andhra Pradesh Govt is going to start ” YSR Netanna Hastham Scheme 2019″ for handloom weavers. Under this scheme, the state govt will grant Rs 24,000 per annum to handloom weavers. This scheme would be implemented on 21st December 2019. The AP YSR Netanna Hastam Beneficiaries List will be displayed in villages and towns by the end of October month.

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had promised AP YSR Netanna Hastham Scheme for handloom weavers in the state during his Padayatra. The State Govt has also decided to hike allowance to fishermen to Rs 10,000 from Rs 4,000 during 60 days annual conservation period when fishing is not allowed. This raised assistance will also be applicable to traditional fishermen who use catamarans. Previously, only those fishermen who were using the motor and mechanized boats were able to get assistance.

AP YSR Netanna Hastham Scheme 2019-20

Andhra Pradesh cabinet has approved to extend Rs 24,000 per year to every eligible weaver’s family who has a manual weaving unit. This YSR Netanna Hastham Scheme will provide assistance to handloom weavers from 21 December 2019. The 1st beneficiary list of Andhra Pradesh Netanna Scheme to be released in all villages and towns by the end of Oct 2019.

  • YSR Netanna Hastam Scheme is a first-of-its-kind initiative to boost the power loom sector in the country.
  • In addition to this, the diesel subsidy on fishing boats is doubled to Rs 9 per ltr.
  • Fishermen should take diesel from specified petrol bunks in the vicinity of fishing harbors.
  • YSR Govt will also provide a guarantee to enable Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) to obtain a loan of Rs 1,000 crore to buy new buses to replace the old ones.
  • AP Power Finance Corporation can now issue bonds of up to Rs 4,471 crore to rescue distribution companies (DISCOMs) in the financial crisis.

The state cabinet has also raised the additional retail excise tax on liquor to implement its policy of imposing prohibition in phases Andhra Pradesh. YSR Govt will form a separate corporation to outsource employees in various govt departments.

Other Decisions In Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Meeting (16 October 2019)-

The other decisions which were taken in the Andhra Pradesh cabinet meeting held on 16 October 2019 are as follows:

  1. Junior advocates will get a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month
  2. Salaries of home guards will be increased from Rs 600 to Rs 710 per day.
  3. This would hike salaries of home guards to around Rs 3,300 per month from present Rs 18,000 per month.
  4. The honorarium for organizers of mid-day meals in schools would be hiked to Rs 3,000 per month from Rs 1,000.

The State Govt of Andhra Pradesh will setup water grids at the district level to ensure the supply of drinking water to all villages and towns. From now onward, a Newspaper Ad tariff would be hiked. Allotment of 1.5 acres of land to Aamoda Publications at Paradesipalem in Visakhapatnam city stands canceled. This land has now been allocated to economically weaker sections.
